As the number of people testing positive for Covid-19 soars in both Telugu states, uncertainty over film shoots is still looming.
Though governments of both states gave permission to resume film shoots, very few film crews have actually gone on floors to shoot sequences. Most shoots that began ended abruptly. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan opened up about the issue and revealed a few details about his upcoming films. In an interview that he released himself, Pawan Kalyan said, “Even the films for which I had begun shooting had to be stalled. I understand that the government allowed to us start shoots but this is not the right time to do so. If we proceed with shootings then there is a high chance that the crew might get infected. It is too risky to proceed with shoots at the moment. Corona doesn’t discriminate among people. Even superstar Amitabh Bachchan was infected so it is very important to be careful. If a vaccine arrives in the market tehn we can proceed with shoots but till then it is better to stay isolated. Even after the Tollywood biggies including Megastar Chiranjeevi having a meeting with both the Chief Ministers, we are all helpless because of coronavirus.”
It has been two years since Pawan Kalyan fans have seen him on the big screen. His last movie, Agnyaatavasi released in 2018. He is currently working on Vakeel Saab which is a remake of superhit Bollywood movie, Pink. Pawan Kalyan will be essaying the role of a lawyer which was played by Amitabh Bachchan in the Hindi original. Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a movie directed by Krish. He is also believed to have signed a film with Gabbar Singh director Harish Shankar.
